Hotel Vistabella is one of the hotels with the best views of the Mediterranean, according to the magazine Viajar!

The Hotel Vistabella was named by the magazine Viajar as one of the 25 hotels with the best views of the Mediterranean Sea. In the list, other included Spanish hotels, a part from the Hotel Vistabella are, the Hacienda Na Xamena in Ibiza, Can Simoneta in Mallorca, Mikasa in Almeria, Mariciel in Mallorca, El Far Hotel-Restaurant in Girona, Hotel Montíboli in Alicante and the Hotel la Platja in Valencia. In France there are a total of 3 hotels; in Italy 6, 2 in Greece, 2 in Turkey; and in Morocco, Cyprus, Tunisia and Croatia 1 each. Here you can read the article about the hotel that appeared in the magazine: Open to the bay of Roses, on top of a small cliff between two beaches, Canyelles and Bonifaci, this small hotel was built in the 60s. After the amendements a decade ago it became the first five star hotel in the northern Costa Brava. It lays between the natural parks of the Empordà region, the old quarter of Girona, the Dalí Triangle and the animated summers in the town of Roses. Those looking to enjoy the dolce far niente can live a few days of relaxation at the hotel enjoying “the best sunsets in the country”, or at least that is how Josep Pla described the sunsets in Roses. In fact, in its thirty rooms the best are the views over the Sea. A Spa, a solarium terrace with whirlpool, a panoramic bar with chill-out beds and four restaraunts complete the facilities: The Balcó de Mar, with its lobster and fresh fish, the informal La Tapa, the lively Beach club El Pirata and the gastronomic restaurant Els Brancs. You can find the full article in the Magazine Viajar, edition July 2011.
