Flower Carpets in Roses for the day of Corpus
The day of Corpus, merchants and residents of Roses elaborate flower carpets with different motifs along the streets of this town. These carpets are made with different types of flowers and materials during the days before the holiday. The show lasts for three days from June 07th until June 10th 2012. The different flower carpets can be seen along the streets of Dr. Pi i Sunyer, Trinitat, Joan Badosa, Traginers, St. Elm, San Sebastian, Cap Norfeu, Francesc Macià, the square of Llevant, Avda. Montserrat, the municipal Market and the neigborhood of Avda. Jaume I. The festival is accompanied by a flower exhibition in the church of Santa Maria where they dress Saints, the Chapel, the Altar and the patios with various floral arrangements. And in the square in front of the church is a gardening show made by gardeners and garden centers from Roses.
