TOP 20 DESTINATIONS 2012 – COSTA BRAVA
Each year the National Geographic magazine publishes a list of the top 20 destinations in the World to visit the following year. This year we account exotic destinations such as Koh Lipe in Thailand, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Panama, and Mongolia, but there is one more that highlights: our beautiful and romantic Costa Brava! This region, the Costa Brava is famous for its breathtakingly beautiful coastline, where wide beaches of golden sand and crystal clear water alternate with rocky promontories and little coves backed by sheer cliffs topped with pine and oak forests. Along with the land’s topographical diversity, one should keep in mind that cultural traditions, architecture and gastronomy shaped this region and that they differ from region to region constructing a very own identity related to its territory and landscape.
