Sunset Festival

In 2012, Roses joined the exclusive "Most Beautiful Bays in the World" club, not only for its 45 kilometers of beaches, its three natural parks or its gastronomic offer, but also because it is where you can admire the most beautiful and unforgettable sunsets.

Since 2016, the "Festivalet de la Posta de Sol", organized by the town hall during the popularly known as "Indian Summer", allows us to enjoy the most incredible sunsets as well as many other activities at the same time.

The Roses "Festivalet" is a proposal that was born with the intention of joining the unique landscape of the Bay of Roses with the culture, the music and the gastronomy of this area. After the good acceptance of the previous years, now is scheduled for the weekend of November 10 and 11, there are two stages planned, the "FESTIVALET stage" at the Plaza de las Botxes and the "stage of the SOL" at la Perola beach with the aim to enjoy concerts with the best possible backdrop. Some Roses’ restaurateurs will offer gourmet tapas during the concerts as a vermouth, and during the weekend you can taste in some restaurants the special Festivalet menu, the price of which coincides with the sunset time of that day (17,33 Euros on Saturday and 17,32 euros on Sunday). A photo contest on Instagram has also been organized with prizes for the best image of a sunset made during those two days, a poetic recital in the Castle of the Trinity as well as a walking tour to enjoy the sunset from the mountain.

This Festivalet is expected to be much bigger than the previous ones and thus definitively consolidate this original proposal, scheduled out of season, which is already in its third edition.
