The municipalities of Girona that host Costa Brava and the Pyrenees will participate in a programme of 140 activities: nautical activities, sports activities, touring by bicycle, hiking and the discovery of special spots, a bunch of activities that have the intention of putting on the map the natural heritage of our territory from a touristic and sustainable perspective. Roses participates with the following five activities:
1st of May
Panoramic hiking in Cap de Creus: a guided tour from Roses until Pic de l’Àliga (462 m), a vantage point of the Roses Bay and the Empordà Plain.
8th of May
Hiking around the Natural Park of Cap de Creus: Cap Norfeu is one of the areas with more environmental value of the Natural Park, actually a fully protected nature reserve (terrestrial and marine).
22nd of May
Hiking along the camí de ronda (round footpath) in Cap de Creus: guided tour from Cala Montjoi until Almadrava beach, a natural footpath with history and with the allure of the Mediterranean landscapes.
23-27 of May
A day out at sea with the fishermen of Roses: large-scale fishing or small-scale fishing on board of one of the most important fishing fleets of Catalunya.
28th and 29th of May
Scuba diving baptism in Roses: initiation to scuba diving for those who have not practised this sport before and would like to try whether they like it or not or, simply, for those who want to experience new sensations.
